Today we continued to work on our colour/emotion monsters and made some great progress - we have such imaginative ideas in this class! Tomorrow we will continue our discussion about what to do with big emotions and hopefully finish our colour monsters (including practicing some writing). We also discussed lockdowns today, and why they are important to practice - we will be having a whole school practice lockdown tomorrow. We will also be learning a new math game tomorrow that includes dice, number recognition, and working with a buddy!
We have filled all of our volunteer positions for our upcoming field trip - thank you so much to those of you who have volunteered!
A reminder to please not send juice boxes to school, and also to practice putting on winter gear with your child. The main things we will need practice to learn are putting on toques, and putting on gloves or mittens.
A few things have come home in the blue folders today - all is yours to keep at home. There is a fundraiser form (the green paper) in the folder, which you have the choice of participating in, or not. Also a few students have been sent home with their photo retake packages, if you would like to order please follow he directions given in your photo package.
