Hello!

Hello all,

I am constantly learning new things this week! Today I learned how to use a new video tool that I will be using regularly to help facilitate at home learning - some of the things I can do with this feature are demonstrations of a learning task, reading a story, sending a message to individual students/family members, and just for keeping connected!

Here is my test video that I recorded for all the Kindergarten students to watch:

Hello Everyone!

Finally, I just wanted to give you all some information about what next week will look like (even though I have mentioned a lot of this already to you all, I just wanted to write it down so you could all refer back to this).

Monday, April 6th: I will be making a blog post on Monday morning by 9:00am. This post will have ALL of your learning tasks for the week (4 Literacy and 4 Math this week, given that Friday is a holiday) - please do not feel overwhelmed by this. I am posting them all at once so that you/your child can complete the tasks in your own time throughout the week, and so that you have time to prepare and schedule for the week. The Alberta Education guideline is for students K-6 to be completing one hour of learning a day (equal to five hours in a week), and of course given that this is an unprecedented situation, please do what works best for your family when working through these tasks. Of course if you have any questions or need to talk about anything at all, please email me and I can either email back, phone you, or send a clarifying video (whatever you prefer).

Friday, April 10th: This is Good Friday, and therefore we would not have been in school this day so there will be no tasks to complete.

Thanks everyone,

Ms. Brinson
