I hope you all had a great weekend! Today we practiced again for our winter concert, reviewed our numbers from 1 to 5, and read the story North Pole Ninjas! Of course we also had centers, movement breaks, and snack!
Our focus for the upcoming month of December will be acts of kindness, along with our regular academic focusses of course. This is what the North Pole Ninjas are all about, helping others! Ask your child about the ideas we talked about in class (making a card for our gym teacher, music teacher, and assistant principal, cleaning up garbage and recycling from outside, or straightening up everyones shoes in the hallway).

A few important items:
- Some children have not returned their field trip forms, it is important that they are filled out and sent back to school as soon as possible in order for your child to attend the field trip. If you didn't get a consent form for the field trip, please call or email me so I can get one to you.
- Some students have not returned their Blue Poetry Duotangs - please return these to school as soon as possible so we can work on our next poem.
- We will be doing a project that involves cutting pictures from magazines, if you have any appropriate magazines at home that you would like to donate to our class to cut from, that would be wonderful!
- Our school is participating in the Mayor's Food Drive - if you have any non perishable food items to donate, please send them our way!
