**No school for AM Kindergarten tomorrow**
Today we started our first round of Literacy Centers, and discussed that Literacy for Kindergarten means we learn all about letters and words! The students worked very hard to learn each new center and found it challenging but exciting! Here are some photos:
We also discussed the difference between Recycling, Garbage, and Compost today - so that we know how to clean up after snack or other activities. We also read a story called Pumpkin Jack, about a boy named Tim and his pumpkin that he named Jack - ask your child about it.
In our class we have been working very hard on walking, not running, using inside voices, and following instructions like "please sit down on the carpet, with your hands to yourself. If you find you have a moment this weekend, please discuss why it is important to safely walk and not touch others while following directions.
