March 5th, 2020!

Hi everyone,

Today we finished up our work on our Owl drawing. This one was a challenging one for us, as it had many steps and lots of detail!

Today we also discussed not rushing through our work, and what good quality work looks like. We talked about not having white space leftover when colouring, making sure were colouring in the lines, adding many details, and working hard to make our pictures interesting and somewhat realistic! Here is a poster to show what we talked about:

We also got to have buddies today - we read any stories we wanted with our grade three buddies! Next week we will be doing a craft about St. Patricks Day (also including shapes, which both the grade threes and Kindergartens have been learning about!).

Also we will be doing a project in our classroom soon that discusses where in the world our family is from! If you wouln't mind, would you please write down your families country of origin on a piece of paper and send it to school with your child. Otherwise, please feel free to email me that information. We will be making a globe and marking where each family is from to show and celebrate the diversity we have in our classroom!

A reminder that tomorrow is PM Kindergarten so we DO NOT have school!

Thanks,
Ms. Brinson
