Today we finished our colour by number work. We also learned about the letter G! Now we have learned the letters P, B, T, D, F, V, K, and G in accordance with our Lively Letters program! We came up with a lot of great words that start with G (we discussed how G makes a gulping sound), ask your child about each of these letters and their sounds:
Please remember that tomorrow morning we have Learning Commons - please send your child book back in their book bag so they can sign out a new book.
We will also be finishing up our drawings on two poems tomorrow and our poetry books will be coming home so you and your child can read the poem and look at their pictures together!
Also we will be doing a project in our classroom soon that discusses where in the world our family is from! If you wouln't mind, would you please write down your families country of origin on a piece of paper and send it to school with your child. Otherwise, please feel free to email me that information. We will be making a globe and marking where each family is from to show and celebrate the diversity we have in our classroom!
