Today we did a guided drawing activity to practice our growth mindset (I am capable of learning something and getting better at it even when its hard), our fine motor skills (I can hold a pencil properly and build those muscles up), and our art skills (I can learn how to create my own unique art)! Some of us also put our skills to use during our free choice center time! Here are some pictures:
Please send your child to school as normal on Thursday morning (wearing clean pajamas) and pick them up as normal (just like a regular school day). Then please arrive at the school by or around 6:00pm on Thursday evening (wearing the same clean pajamas). The performance starts at 6:30 but we will need time to prep and practice before hand. Also please note that on Thursday night the students will come to the classroom and the families will go to the gym.
The AM Kindergarten students will be participating in the
Christmas Concert on Thursday Dec 19th at 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
Students will be singing 2 songs; The Teddy Bear Twist and Play the Bells to Celebrate!
Students are encouraged to wear clean pajamas to school on the morning of the 19th for our Dress Rehearsal performance and then return in the evening in the same pajamas.
You will not need tickets to attend. We are strongly encouraging extended family members with daytime availability to come to the morning or afternoon performances (grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc.) as the evening performances are very busy and seating availability is very limited.
Please bring a donation for the food bank if you are able to when you attend the concert. We will be collecting donations until December 20
Thanks and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow,
Ms. Brinson
