My apologies for my lack of blog post yesterday - I have a nasty ear infection so had to take a day to recover a bit.
Tomorrow his Halloween, students may come to school dressed up in costumes, wearing black and orange, or not dressed up at all! We will be painting our class pumpkins tomorrow so I will make sure that students take off the main part of their costume during that time so that they do not get wrecked. Today we had our class photo, as well as picture retakes. We tried some new centers this morning too, it was very exciting! Also we read the book "Its Okay to Make Mistakes" by Todd Parr (one of my favourite authors) and discussed how when we are learning we make a lot of mistakes (even adults) and that we learn even more when we do make mistakes!
Lastly, now that the cold winter weather is upon us, please practice things like putting mittens on, zipping up jackets, and getting boots on at home - they are doing a great job but these are a few of the things that we could all use a little practice with 😊
