First, please note that tomorrow is a PD day so there is NO school for any students tomorrow! Also, Monday is Thanksgiving so there will be no school then either! Enjoy your long weekend!
Today we talked about Thanksgiving, and what we are thankful for - then we drew a picture of it!
We also did a "Colour by Number" activity, involving a Turkey (this was sent home today, for you to keep/your child to complete if they so choose).
We discussed what to do in the case of a Fire Drill again. In our class we discuss this often, as we never know when the Fire Drills are coming in the year but we are certain to have a few! It is important to be ready whenever the occasion arises. We also discussed what to do in the case of a Practice Lockdown, as we will also practice this a couple of times in the year.
Of course we also had centers today, read a book by Todd Parr called The Thankful Book, and discussed what the word "author means".
