September 25th, 2019!

Hello all!

Today we talked more about Terry Fox (since our run is tomorrow), and as mentioned in last weeks message from the school we are doing a Toonies for Terry fundraiser - if you choose to donate please send your child to school with a Toonie tomorrow! I have also sent home tattoos in the blue folders, it is your choice whether or not your child wears this to school tomorrow. As it is our run tomorrow, please send your child to school with comfortable outside shoes (if the weather is good we will be running outside) and a water bottle! Also if you have a moment tonight, please discuss with your child why it is important to run/walk for Terry Fox.

We also got to sign out a book from the Learning Commons today! As mentioned at meet the teacher, this book will not necessarily be in your child's "level", but that's alright as we encourage families to read together! 

Today we also learned the number two and how many ways it can be represented, and we practiced drawing two in different ways on our white boards. Of course we also had centers and sharing circle today. Here are some photos from our day!

(We are still waiting on some consent forms to come back to the school, so if your consent form has not been returned then you will see a smiley covering your child's face until we have your permission to post their photo 😊)
