Sorry for the lack of blog post yesterday, as many of you know I was away sick! I am back today and we had a great day in Kindergarten!
In the blue folders today, SOME students were sent home with Consent Forms about whether or not you are comfortable with your child's photo being posted on the blog - whether you check yes or no, please return this form back to school ASAP. I have held off posting photos on the blog thus far, while waiting for consent forms but will now begin posting photos daily! If you have opted for your child's photo not to be posted, their face will always be covered in the photos. Another item that was sent home today is about picture day, which is coming up shortly!
Today we learned more about fall and went on a nature walk around our school grounds - we collected beautiful fall leaves and then painted a picture of them afterwards. We learned a lot about the changes of fall and about water colour paints. Ask your child about fall colours they know about! Every day we also complete Movement Breaks, and we really enjoy dancing. There are lots of dances to follow along with on youtube if you would like to do this at home! We also had centers today and discussed Terry Fox - as we will be completing our Terry Fox run on Thursday.
