Hello everyone!
We had a lovely day in Kindergarten, as always! Today we read the book "The Big Umbrella", in which the umbrella helps others by getting as big as it needs to in order to fit everyone underneath. Then we had a discussion about who was important in our lives and who we would want under our umbrella. We drew a rough sketch of our own umbrella, and tomorrow we are going to make an umbrella out of paper, yarn, and other art materials!
We also got to go to the learning commons again this morning with Mrs. Laythorpe!
In our blue folders today, you will find a fundraiser form and a Child Safe Canada pamphlet, please keep these at your home and send the folder back to school tomorrow.
