Yesterday we learned all about the letter D and words that start with D - the students came up with some great ideas! Ask your child about words that start with D.
We also had a discussion about the fires in Australia and our lovely Coventry Cares Club that is raising money for the Koalas and Kangas! If you have a spare loonie or toonie please feel free to send it in to school for our fundraiser if you so choose!
We are also in the middle of a project about the first letter in our names! We are creating an art piece that features the first letter of our name, some pictures of things that start with the same letter, shapes we have been learning, and a yarn pattern (as we have been learning about patterns)! We also learned that watercolour paints don't stick to crayon, so we can create some cool designs!
Some students still have their report cards in their blue folders. Please take these out of the blue folders and look over them. They are yours to keep and are an important piece of understanding how your child is doing in school! As always please feel free to communicate with me, should you have any questions or concerns!
