October 15th, 2019!

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend full of family, fun, and food!

We had a science and inquiry day in Kindergarten today - we studied our pumpkins even more than we already did. We guessed what colour the inside of the white pumpkin might be, we guessed how many lines and how tall the green pumpkin is, we guessed how big around the yellow pumpkin might be (using string), and we guessed whether the orange pumpkin would sink or float! Ask your child about these experiments! Here are some pictures:

We also discussed the letter P today, and the quiet air puffing sound that it makes. Ask your child to tell you the sound P makes :-) Additionally we went to the learning commons with Mrs. Laythorpe! If you still have books from last week or the week before, please return them whenever you can!

Have a great evening everyone,

Ms. Brinson
