Hi everyone,
Today was a busy day in Kindergarten! We drew a self portrait, took a tour of the school to see the Music Room, Gym, and reminded ourselves where the Office is. We also practiced what to do if we have a fire drill - please ask your child about it.
Today in your child's backpack you will find a blue folder with their name on it. This is my way of communicating with you (besides here on the blog of course) and sending you important paperwork, forms, or messages. I will send home the folder daily (even though there may be nothing in it some days) and I ask that you return it to school with your child the following morning! Today I have sent home a copy of our AM Kindergarten Friday school schedule for the year. Please keep this is a safe place so you can refer to it throughout the year. I have also sent home a student demographic booklet to be filled out!
Thank you so much for a wonderful week so far, and please note that AM Kindergartens DO have school tomorrow!
