Hello everyone,
Today in Kindergarten we talked about the number one, and all of the ways it can be represented! We looked at dice, dominoes, ten frames, the number, and the number word. We talked about how we knew when something represented the number one, and we read the book 10 Black Dots. It was a busy math day! Of course we also played together at centers, read a story called Wemberly Worried, and enjoyed getting to know the others at our new table groups!
Tomorrow we will be talking about how to"read the pictures" in a book, and using a wordless book we will create our own story!
Some students have been sent home with paperwork today, to be filled out and returned to school (in the blue folders) and others have nothing to worry about!
